In the majestic Cathedral setting of Christchurch’s first Church, take a seat and soak up the joy of Women in Harmony singing music that circles the world. Clap with us, maybe sing with us and you’ll also be making a significant contribution to benefit the families who are being supported by Shakti Ethnic Women’s Support Group in Christchurch.

The night promises a celebration of the energy that women bring to life and music with vibrant modern interpretations of the traditional arranged by our dynamic musical director Mary Ruston, evocative melodies, humour and imagination interspersed with solo performances from within the choir, Eileen Reid, Kristina Godfrey and Judi Smitheram who will bring their rich, authentic depth to the evening.

We would love to see you there!

Women in Harmony is a fun, dynamic community choir singing music from all over the world, remembering that community is the most important aspect. We make the best music as a group of expressive and quirky individuals making sure we’re having fun and enjoying one another’s company more than anything else.

Many of our members have dabbled in music all their lives; others have embraced singing for the first time in this choir. With our fantastic choir director Mary Ruston, the atmosphere is relaxed, SO THAT WE ENJOY SHARING our love of music through singing.
